Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for general maintenance across a medical campus. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance on boilers, HVAC, fire safety systems, emergency generators, and patient care equipment to ensure continuous operations.

Role may provide supervision within your licensed scope and collaborate with a maintenance team. A 2-year vocational program or apprenticeship is required, with alternative 3 years of maintenance experience

Qualifications

• Minimum of a 2 year vocational school or a 2-year apprenticeship program or the equivalent.
• OR
• 3 years of experience in a maintenance role.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair boilers, HVAC, fire safety systems, emergency generators, and patient care devices.
• May provide direction to assigned team members within the scope of your license.
