Job summary

The Boulevard is seeking a Director of Maintenance for a full-time role in Virginia. You will lead all facilities maintenance operations to ensure a safe, efficient environment supporting resident care.

The position requires strong leadership, experience in healthcare facilities, and HVAC certification. Responsibilities include overseeing preventive maintenance, coordinating staff and contractors, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and safety standards to maintain continuous

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years in a maintenance role.
• Healthcare facility experience required.
• HVAC certification strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, HVAC, electrical, plumbing.
• Ability to read blueprints and system schematics.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Must be licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations to keep the facility safe and functional.
• Manage preventative maintenance and repairs of facility systems.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and standards.
• Supervise maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors.
• Maintain critical facility systems and records.
• Perform routine inspections and safety checks.
• Interpret blueprints and technical manuals for repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies to protect residents.
