Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking a dedicated full-time Housekeeper at the Longview facility to maintain a clean, sanitary, and attractive environment for residents. The role reports to the housekeeping supervisor and includes cleaning floors, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, and restocking supplies.

High School diploma or equivalent is required or preferred, with experience as a housekeeper or janitor being helpful but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience as a housekeeper or janitor is preferred but not required.
• Follow OSHA standards for handling infectious waste.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, mops, vacuums, buffs, strips, washes and shampoos floor surfaces.
• Cleans and dusts furniture, closets, telephone areas and vents.
• Scours, polishes and sanitizes sinks, counters, stainless steel surfaces and waste receptacles.
• Empties waste receptacles and cleans solid waste containers and transports medical waste to outside storeroom as directed.
• Uses room deodorizer as necessary.
• Ensures paper supplies are always available.
• Washes windows and walls, including draperies and rugs as directed.
• Gathers and returns needed cleaning supplies and equipment daily to support rooms as directed.
