Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. You will perform daily housekeeping tasks and ensure sanitation according to established procedures while delivering friendly service to residents and staff.

Starting pay is USD 13.50 per hour with benefits and opportunities for training and development. Residence within the service area is required, and you will report to the facility supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
• Residence within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
