Job summary

The Electrician at CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO provides electrical services across the facilities, installing, maintaining and upgrading systems and equipment to meet district/state standards.

Required: Journeyman Electrician within 2 years of hire and 3 years related experience; STI Fire Stop certification within 1 year; active driver's license. Master Electrician preferred; forklift experience a plus. Day shift with possible nights/weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician within 2 years of hire.
• 3 years related experience.
• Master Electrician preferred.
• STI Fire Stop Certification within 1 year of hire (provided by Cox yearly if not already certified)

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and upgrade electrical systems and equipment.
• Respond to work requests timely and professionally; complete assignments.
• Assist other Maintenance Mechanics on projects; ensure tools and materials are available at the job site.
• May work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed and approved bySupervisor.
