Job summary

The North Florida/South Georgia VA Healthcare System seeks a Project Engineer to perform project planning, produce designs, manage designs and construction, and provide construction administration for Minor Construction, NRMs, Station Level Projects, and Leases across architectural, electrical, life-safety, mechanical, civil, and structural domains.

Responsibilities include overseeing from planning to execution and ensuring compliance with VA standards.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required or eligible per VA policy.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Architecture from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent.
• Evidence of passing FE exam or licensure options as described (EIT/FE, state licensure).
• Current professional registration or licensure as PE or Architect may be required for higher grades.

Responsibilities

• Plan projects from inception through design, construction, and closeout.
• Produce and manage designs across architectural, electrical, life-safety, mechanical, civil, and structural disciplines.
• Oversee construction and provide construction administration for Minor Construction, NRMs, Station Level Projects, and Leases.
