Job summary

Infor is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for Plants Operations to maintain healthcare properties, ensuring safety and accessibility for patients, staff, and visitors. The role involves performing both general and planned maintenance, inspecting buildings and equipment, and supporting project work across facilities.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of related experience or an equivalent education/experience combination, with advanced Tradesman-level training preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 and two years related experience or an equivalent education/experience.
• Tradesman level advanced training or certification preferred.
• Tradesman level certification preferred (if applicable).
• Knowledge, Skills & Ability: strong interpersonal and oral communication; ability to work independently and collaboratively; basic math; ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Directs, controls and plans maintenance projects.
• Assists in carrying out maintenance routines both general and planned.
• Acts as a liaison between staff and the Maintenance department.
• Meets with contractors to disseminate site-specific knowledge.
• Monitors contractors working in the vicinity.
• Performs specialized/general maintenance and repairs throughout facilities and grounds.
• Performs inspections of buildings and equipment.
• Maintains a safe environment for patients, employees and the public.
• Operates, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs boilers according to state law.
• Teaches staff about new equipment and procedures.
