Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. seeks a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor for Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital – Bartram, Jacksonville, FL. The role oversees the facilities and maintenance team, coordinates activities across locations, and ensures safety, compliance with AHCA, Joint Commission, and ICRA standards.

40 hours weekly; requires experience in health care facilities, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and leadership. Valid driver’s license and strong communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman or trade license preferred.
• Five years of health care facilities experience.
• Knowledge of AHCA, Joint Commission, and ICRA standards.
• HVAC, electrical distribution, and plumbing knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs comfortably.
• Leadership and supervisory capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all work activities for location.
• Supervise onsite maintenance team.
• Order materials, equipment and supplies.
• Maintain storage areas and conduct inventory control.
• Move equipment and furniture; lift 50 lbs.
• Ensure confidentiality and patient rights policies.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment; report hazards.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
