Job summary

Green Bay Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Director of Facilities Management to lead the daily operation and maintenance of hospital buildings, grounds, and mechanical/electrical systems. You will ensure compliance with NFPA, OSHA, Joint Commission standards and collaborate with department heads to maintain safe, efficient operations.

The role also includes acting as Safety Officer and overseeing the Emergency Management Program, driving alignment with the hospital's mission and guiding

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in facilities or operations management.
• Four years related work experience or completion of approved, accredited trade school program or apprenticeship preferred.
• Certification or licensing of Plumbing, HVAC, Air Conditioning, or Electrician preferred.
• Certification of successful completion of FEMA National Incident Management ICS-100 & ICS-200 preferred within the first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Director of Facilities Management oversees daily operation and maintenance of hospital buildings, grounds, and mechanical/electrical systems, ensuring compliance with local, state, NFPA, OSHA and Joint Commission standards.
• Interacts with department heads to ensure safe and efficient operations; hires, trains, supervises, and terminates building service personnel.
• Serves as Safety Officer and manages Emergency Management Program; aligns actions with hospital mission and guiding principles.
