Job summary

Aramark is seeking an EVS Worker to clean and maintain designated areas in a healthcare or correctional services setting. You will follow OSHA and client procedures, perform room cleaning and sanitization, and ensure proper disposal of waste while maintaining a safe environment.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining equipment, reporting maintenance needs, and providing courteous service to clients, patients, and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including OSHA/state/local/federal and Aramark regulations.
• Performs cleaning and sanitizing of patient/resident rooms and related areas, including vacuuming, dusting, bed making, waste removal, and restroom cleaning.
• Maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment.
• Cleans areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas.
• Reports maintenance concerns via work orders to appropriate personnel.
• Maintains friendly, efficient, and professional customer service toward customers, clients, patients, and co-workers.
• Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required and assets are protected.
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
