Salinas Valley Post Acute is hiring a full-time Janitor to support our environmental services team in Salinas, CA. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, restrooms, and patient areas, disposing of waste, and restocking supplies in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial, custodial, or EVS settings preferred.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read instructions, follow safety labels, and interact politely with residents and staff.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening required for healthcare facility employment.

Responsabilités

• Maintain cleanliness of the facility: sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors in resident rooms, common areas, and hallways.
• Empty trash, recycling, and biohazard disposal per healthcare regulations.
• Sanitize restrooms and high-touch surfaces to minimize infection risks.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and paper products.
