Job summary

Aramark Environmental Services is seeking an Operations Manager for Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. You will lead EVS operations, ensuring health and safety standards, client satisfaction, and financial performance across the unit.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, managing budgets, maintaining sanitation, and building strong client relationships while delivering high-quality service and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 3 years of experience in healthcare environmental services.
• Requires up to 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role preferred
• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Model key leadership behaviors and ensure the highest levels of safety, quality and service excellence for employees, clients and consumers

Responsibilities

• Leadership of the unit and overall operational ownership
• Coach employees and develop team members to their fullest potential
• Plan and lead team management meetings
• Ensure safety and sanitation standards in all operations
• Establish and maintain client relationships and communicate progress
• Deliver and model Aramark's West service foundation for customer excellence
• Support new business and retention activities
• Develop facilities programs to meet client demands
• Manage revenue, budget and cost controls (labor, supplies, inventory)
• Ensure completion of financial statements and adherence to financial targets
• Adopt Aramark processes and systems; minimize ad hoc reports
• Understand performance metrics and leverage data to improve margins
• Create value through efficient operations and cost controls
• Ensure adherence to operating standards and sustainability goals
