Job summary

Fairfield Medical Center is seeking an EVS Attendant to maintain a clean and safe hospital environment. The role covers patient care areas, lobbies, offices, and restrooms, using appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment.

You will remove trash, maintain equipment, and assist with moving furniture and setting up meeting rooms. Duties require attention to quality standards and the ability to work a daytime shift in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to physically exert up to 20–50 lbs occasionally and up to 25 lbs frequently.
• Experience in hospital housekeeping is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned patient care areas, common areas, and/or off-site locations using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Removal of trash, including hazardous and bio-hazardous waste.
• Maintain closet, housekeeping cart and cleaning equipment in good working condition.
• Cleans equipment and notifies supervisor of equipment and other facility items needing repair.
• Delivers and/or retrieves various equipment and/or furniture to and from designated areas.
• Set-up and tear-down meeting rooms per set-up requirements.
• Performs work in accordance with established quality standards.
