Memorial Healthcare System is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain a sanitary, safe environment and keep patient rooms and facility areas clean in Hollywood, Florida. The role focuses on floor care, waste removal, linen replenishment and equipment sanitation.

No degree is required. This is a day shift position with no mandatory experience, though healthcare or hospitality background is preferred and strong communication skills are important.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; healthcare or hospitality background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition and stores in appropriate storage area when finished with shift.
• May be responsible for maintaining a consistent floor care program according to outlined policies and procedures.
• Performs other environmental services duties as needed.
• Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Ensures proper sanitation of medical equipment as required.
• Replenish supplies and/or linen in patient rooms as necessary or designated.
