Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a dedicated environmental services team member to maintain sanitary, safe, and welcoming patient areas across inpatient, discharge, and surgical settings. You will follow SOPs, use cleaning agents correctly, and restock rooms as needed.

Ideal candidates have a GED or high school diploma and can work in a fast-paced hospital environment with minimal supervision. Training is provided to ensure policy compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• 1–3 months on-the-job training to learn policies and procedures.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow departmental policies.

Responsibilities

• Cleans inpatient, outpatient, and non-surgical areas as assigned.
• Uses appropriate cleaning products and sanitizers to wipe surfaces and spills.
• Stocks supplies in exam rooms and restrooms; informs supervisor when low.
• Adheres to hospital quality and safety requirements and SOPs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
