Job summary

Crochall Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, is seeking an EVS Director III to lead the Housekeeping Department in a hospital setting. You will oversee the team, coordinate with administrative and clinical departments, and drive financial and operational performance while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration with hospital leadership, ensuring high-quality environmental services and patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree and related experience required.
• Six years of housekeeping management experience at a healthcare account required.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial and other data.
• General business acumen.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• High customer service and quality attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet established goals and objectives.
• Public speaking skills.
• Ability to utilize a participative approach to managing staff, to organize and prioritize tasks, and to develop budgets with a complete understanding of facility needs and requirements.
• Excellent stress management skills, administrative and organizational, and follow-through skills required.
• Proficient in Windows based office software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the operational needs of the Housekeeping Department.
• Coordinate tasks of the Assistant Directors and Operations Managers.
• Serve as liaison between administration and hospital departments.
• Manage department's financial data and statistics.
• Monitor unit expenditures.
• Develop and manage the department operating budget and ensure budget compliance.
• Coordinate housekeeping activities with other departments.
• Communicate with administration and other hospital departments.
• Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and supervise department functions.
• Establish work standards and workflow.
• Implement policies and procedures for department operations.
• Encourage and mentor staff creativity and innovation.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies.
• Contribute to facility goals and performance plans.
• Lead Total Quality Management processes and maintain staff job descriptions.
• Encourage staff participation in education programs.
