The role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents, visitors, and staff within a healthcare setting. Responsibilities include cleaning rooms and common areas, following infection prevention protocols, and supporting infection prevention standards while providing courteous, professional service.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform housekeeping and environmental services duties effectively.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Previous housekeeping, environmental services, hospitality, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, common areas, fixtures, and surfaces according to established housekeeping procedures and schedules.
• Follow infection prevention and sanitation protocols at all times.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, sanitize, and maintain assigned areas to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, coworkers, and other departments.
• Respond courteously and professionally to resident and staff requests.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or operational issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by department leadership.
