Job summary

Aramark is hiring an EVS Worker to clean and maintain patient/resident areas in a healthcare setting, following safety and infection-control guidelines. The role emphasizes cleaning, sanitizing, and keeping equipment in good condition to meet client and patient expectations.

You will perform cleaning tasks, report maintenance needs, and provide friendly service to customers, clients, patients and co-workers. The position may involve lifting, standing, and wearing PPE; standard shifts apply.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment following OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations.
• Performs cleaning and sanitizing of patient/resident rooms including vacuuming, dusting, bed making, and waste removal; cleans restrooms per infection control procedures.
• Maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment.
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
• Follows procedures for trash storage and disposal and transports waste to designated areas.
• Reports maintenance concerns via work orders to appropriate personnel.
• Maintains a friendly, efficient, positive demeanor toward customers, clients, patients and co-workers; adapts to customer needs.
• Secures the facility and ensures the building is locked/unlocked as required.
• Ensures security of company assets.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
