Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors in a long-term care setting. Duties include cleaning rooms and common areas, adhering to infection prevention procedures, and ensuring readiness for inspections.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety guidelines, and commitment to resident comfort and quality of life within a healthcare environment.

Competenze

• Experience in healthcare housekeeping or long-term care settings preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation practices, and infection prevention standards preferred.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

Mansioni

• Clean resident rooms, patient rooms, common areas, hallways, offices, restrooms, and other assigned facility areas.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and environmental hygiene standards throughout the facility.
• Follow infection control and infection prevention procedures per facility policies.
• Clean, sanitize, and disinfect surfaces, furnishings, fixtures, and equipment using approved methods and products.
• Dispose of waste and trash according to procedures and safety guidelines.
• Support a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, patients, visitors, and staff.
• Report maintenance concerns and safety hazards to the appropriate department.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment and supplies and keep work areas organized.
• Follow established housekeeping schedules and environmental services procedures.
• Assist with readiness for inspections, surveys, and quality assurance reviews.
