Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a Distribution Tech II to maintain stock at a hospital location. The role involves receiving and processing supply orders, delivering supplies, and building replenishment orders.

You will participate in physical inventories, manage stock levels, and support efficient operations in a hospital setting. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and 2 years of supply chain experience; some college coursework is preferred.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent.
• PREFERRED EDUCATION: Some college coursework.
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years of supply chain specific experience.
• PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 3 years in supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes various supply orders.
• Delivers supplies to the desired destination.
• Builds orders for stock replenishment.
• Replenishes crash carts and trays.
• Maintains and cleans stock locations.
• Loads and unloads materials within the storage facility.
• Participates in physical inventory and cycle counts.
• Handles supplies and rotates stock to ensure products are used before expiration.
• Maintains PAR levels and manages stock outs.
• Performs receiving, distribution and shipping functions.
• Follows policies to discard or disinfect returned items.
• Monitors returns and usage rates; notifies leaders of inadequate par levels.
• Orders supplies when re-order points are reached.
• Performs data entry.
• Uses resources efficiently and maintains a safe environment.
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities.
