Job summary

Henricksen seeks a Design Healthcare Specialist to lead clinical design and healthcare-focused client solutions. You will translate clinical workflows into space and product strategies, collaborate across markets, and drive internal capabilities in healthcare and laboratory design.

The role requires travel and close alignment with leadership to deliver differentiated outcomes. Based in MN or IL offices, you will work with sales, design, and manufacturers to advance healthcare projects, develop

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Healthcare Design, Laboratory Planning, or related field.
5+ years of experience in contract furniture dealership and/or manufacturer.
2-3 years of laboratory-specific experience.
Strong understanding of clinical and laboratory workflows and their impact on space planning and product applications.
Experience developing solutions for healthcare and/or laboratory environments.
Knowledge of healthcare and laboratory furniture, materials, finishes, and performance requirements.
Ability to translate complex client requirements into practical and effective design solutions.
Proficient and effective communicator across audiences.
Proven ability to collaborate with clients, designers, architects, clinicians, facilities teams, manufacturers, and sales professionals.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, CAP Studio or Project Matrix, Configura CET, and proven graphic layout skills.
30% travel anticipated.
