Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in science, engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or related STEM field required.
• Master’s Degree in Data Science preferred.
• Seven (7) years of experience in data science is required.
• Professional experience in hospital setting, medical informatics, healthcare IT/finance/revenue cycle data management, or EHR data management is preferred.
• Business analytical skills (process flows, procedures, spreadsheets, modeling, etc.).
• Deep understanding of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.).
• Advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, distributions, statistical tests, etc.).
• Ability to communicate requirements and tell stories with data.
• Strong project management and ability to work on multiple projects with deadlines.
• Advanced knowledge of data science methods – time series forecasting, linear regression, A/B testing, clustering, etc.

Education
