Job summary

Mercer is seeking a Government Healthcare Data Manager to lead the data team on large, complex projects within our GHSC practice in Tampa.

The role works with actuarial, financial and clinical colleagues to design data methodologies, manage data processing, and apply SAS to health care datasets, delivering actionable insights for clients.

You will mentor junior analysts and partner with clients to define scope and communicate data-driven implications.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent experience required.
• 10+ years of healthcare claims data and project management experience.
• 3+ years leading teams and client-facing work.
• Experience with SAS, SQL or equivalent languages.

Responsibilities

• Act as project lead and define project scope with the client.
• Oversee data strategy, processing, and communicate anomalies.
• Utilize SAS to interpret and analyze large healthcare data.
• Collaborate with teams to finalize methodologies and educate clients.
