Job summary

Evio is seeking a DevOps Engineer in the United States to blend software development with product data operations and runtime operations. You will own recurring data ingestion cycles, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and ensure production readiness across Evio’s cloud environment.

Candidate will leverage Python/SQL, AWS-native data tools, and data-security practices to deliver reliable, scalable services in a healthcare data context.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Informatics, Information Systems or related field.
  • 10+ years in data engineering or similar with demonstrated leadership.
  • Expertise building and administering AWS-native data systems (e.g., Redshift, Aurora, RDS).
  • Strong Python and SQL experience with advanced query design.
  • Experience with healthcare data (Medical/ Rx claims) or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and data ingestion components.
  • Build and enhance data ingestion components, including integrations, transformations, and validation logic.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and implement long-term fixes for production issues.
  • Develop internal tools and automation to improve reliability.
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines and coordinate releases with engineering teams.
  • Monitor health, logs, and alerts; respond to incidents to maintain reliability.
