Job summary

FullStack is seeking a Healthcare Data and Analytics Specialist to join our remote team. You will work with our clients on data integration, validation, and analytical reporting within healthcare domains.

We value 5+ years of experience, advanced English, a four-year degree, and a track record with SQL, PostgreSQL, and HIPAA compliance. This is a fully remote role in a fast-growing consultancy with opportunities to influence large, complex systems.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering, data analysis, or data operations experience.
  • Advanced English is required.
  • Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
  • Deep experience with healthcare data (claims, eligibility, enrollment, payer/TPA/PBM).
  • Expertise in using SQL to join datasets and build analytical logic.
  • Experience with healthcare data validation and data quality workflows.
  • Understanding of healthcare claims structures and financial metrics.
  • Experience creating recurring analytical reporting and data dictionaries.
  • Experience tracing data issues across data ecosystems.
  • Familiar with PostgreSQL, file transfers (SFTP, flat files) or APIs.
  • Knowledgeable in HIPAA and PHI controls.
  • Ability to contribute to libraries and CI/CD processes.
  • Strong ownership and problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience on Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Ability to handle large, complex systems.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze healthcare data including claims, enrollment, and eligibility.
  • Collaborate with client teams and FullStack product teams to deliver analytics solutions.
  • Develop and maintain data dictionaries and metric definitions.
  • Investigate data discrepancies and ensure data quality across stages of the data pipeline.
  • Build and maintain automated analytical reports and dashboards.
  • Contribute to CI/CD of data applications and pipelines.
  • Support HIPAA compliance and secure data handling.
  • Communicate findings clearly to clients and stakeholders.

The Position

We're Looking To Hire a Healthcare Data And Analytics Specialist To Join Our Team. You'll Work With Our Incredible Clients In One Of Two Ways

  • Team Augmentation: You will integrate directly into our client's team and work alongside their existing designers and engineers daily.
  • Design & Build: You will work on a FullStack product team to build and deliver a product to our clients.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering, data analysis, or data operations experience.
  • Advanced English is required.
  • Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
  • Deep experience in working with healthcare data, including medical claims, pharmacy claims, eligibility, enrollment, or payer/TPA/PBM benefits.
  • Expertise in using SQL to join complex datasets, investigate discrepancies, and construct maintainable analytical logic.
  • Solid background in healthcare data validation, reconciliation, data quality monitoring, and data operations workflows.
  • Solid understanding of healthcare claims structures, terminology, utilization, and financial metrics (such as allowed and paid amounts).
  • Track record of creating recurring analytical reporting, data dictionaries, and metric definitions for clients, employers, or executives.
  • Demonstrated experience investigating data issues and tracing discrepancies through different stages of a data ecosystem.
  • Comfortable working with relational databases (such as PostgreSQL) and familiar with file transmissions like SFTP, flat files, or APIs.
  • Knowledgeable in HIPAA compliance, protected health information (PHI) regulations, and healthcare data security controls.
  • Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
  • Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
  • Forensic attention to detail.
  • A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
  • Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
