Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare is seeking a hybrid Data Analyst to support the TeleHealth Analytics team, delivering analytics and storytelling across eighty virtual care service lines to boost patient care and operations.

You will partner with leaders, data advisors, and architects to produce insights, run demonstrations, and train users, while pursuing ongoing learning within the Intermountain analytics community.

Qualifications

• Intermediate SQL and database tasks with capability in design.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools.
• Strong command of office applications for daily tasks.
• Effective communication skills with experience presenting data insights to peers.
• Knowledge of healthcare data from relevant projects.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; familiarity with PM/PM methodologies to align analytics projects with business goals.
• Bachelor's degree in analytics related fields with two years of relevant statistical data analysis; or a Bachelor's degree in another field with four years of relevant data analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary analytical support to senior leadership within a defined system, regional business, or clinical area.
• Regularly engage with leadership to share progress, establish project priorities, and set deliverable timelines.
• Partner with Healthcare Data Advisors and Data Architects to maintain data integrity and accuracy for the supported areas.
• Receive stakeholder requests and produce meaningful insights through data exploration, interpretation, reporting, and visual storytelling.
• Communicate analytic findings and recommendations to both technical teams and business executives.
• Schedule and deliver analytic demonstrations and hands‑on training to promote understanding and independent use of analytic work.
• Pursue ongoing skill development through self-directed learning and participation in the Intermountain analytic community educational offerings.
