Job summary

Driscoll Children’s Hospital is seeking a Data Analyst to learn and perform specialized reporting tasks under supervision, with scope for independent action. You will handle basic report writing, data validation, and end-user education within Hospital/Clinics and Health Plan focus areas.

The role emphasizes PHI/data management, SQL/SAS querying, Excel dashboards, and developing skills in Power BI while supporting reporting portals and analytics catalogs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; related fields preferred (Finance, Statistics, Data Analytics, Health Care Administration)
• Familiarity with analytics, report development, and data visualization tools is favored

Responsibilities

• Follows the Driscoll Way with communication, end user engagement, and customer service at all times.
• Follows guidelines for PHI and data management.
• Run, export and review reports and data.
• Create and run basic SQL/SAS queries and understand data models within focus area.
• Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables, Power Query, dashboards, etc.
• Engage with end users: provide report training, assist with requirements, help generate report specs and checklists.
• Maintain and assist teams with Analytics portals, reporting catalogs, etc.
• Build simple reports in SSMS/SSRS, Epic, maintain incentive models and related DHS tools.
• Learn and develop basic knowledge for data visualizations (PowerBI, SlicerDicer, Radar dashboards).
• Opportunity to advance into BI Developer or Advanced Healthcare Data Analyst roles.
• Perform other related work as required.
