Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a data analytics professional to analyze integrated datasets and translate findings into actionable insights. You will collaborate with PHCO, clinical, and other stakeholders to reduce cost of care and improve outcomes for members.

Qualifications include 4+ years in handling large databases, strong SQL, Excel, and BI skills (Power BI). Proficiency in Python or R is a plus, with effective communication for non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 4+ years with large databases, data verification, and data management; healthcare analytics preferred.
• Working knowledge of SQL; Python and R knowledge preferred.
• PowerBI or other BI visualization tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret data from claims, provider, member, and encounters data to identify value opportunities.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot scripts and reports using SQL, Excel, or analytics tools.
• Plan and execute large-scale projects with limited direction from leadership.
• Identify automation opportunities and assist in process improvements.
• Perform root-cause analysis of data irregularities and present findings to stakeholders.
• Communicate insights effectively to non-technical partners and customers.
• Provide technical guidance to junior analysts.
