Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. in Tyler, Texas, is hiring a full-time Courier to support specimen transport between our laboratory and healthcare partners. The role requires a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and the ability to handle items up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced environment.

You will interact with clients, ensure proper specimen handling, and uphold safety, compliance, and quality control standards while providing reliable, customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license and an excellent driving record for the past three years.
• Confidence operating a vehicle in all weather and traffic conditions and navigating routine hazards of the road.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under time constraints, without close supervision.
• Physical capability of light to medium lifting (up to 50lbs).

Responsibilities

• Perform a vital part of the patient care process by making sure that reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens are transported between the laboratory and healthcare provider locations.
• Ensure proper specimen handling, transport, and safe operation of a motor vehicle – rain or shine.
• Interact with a variety of clients and commit to customer-focused service.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
