Job summary

Western Pathology Consultants in Reno, NV is seeking a full-time courier to support the lab by transporting reports, specimens, and supplies between laboratory and healthcare provider locations. The role requires safe driving and reliable service on the 2nd shift, with eligibility for shift differential.

You will interact with clinical staff and clients, ensure proper specimen handling, adhere to safety and privacy standards, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record for the past three years.
• Ability to drive in all weather and traffic conditions.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Transport reports, records, supplies, and medical specimens between the laboratory and healthcare provider locations.
• Ensure proper specimen handling and safe operation of a motor vehicle in all conditions.
• Interact with clients and provide customer-focused service.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
