Job summary

VCU Health is seeking a Cost Reporting Analyst to prepare preliminary portions of the Hospital’s Annual Medicare Cost Report and ensure compliance with state Indigent Care Cost Report requirements. The role includes handling audit requests and assisting with audits of Governmental Cost Reports.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business Administration and at least three years in accounting or finance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of accounting, finance, business work experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete all aspects of the State required Indigent Care Cost Report.
• Handle all audit requests/inquiries related to the Indigent Care Cost Report.
• Assist with audits of Governmental Cost Reports.
• Data entry, document compilation, audit evidence gathering, and basic regulatory research.
