Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living seeks an experienced Senior Living Director of Nursing (LPN or RN) to partner with the Community Director in delivering exceptional resident care. You will oversee care programs, lead Resident Assistants, coordinate healthcare staff, and ensure compliance with state regulations and HIPAA guidelines.

Responsibilities include assessing resident needs, maintaining EHRs, supervising staff, training, inventory management, and 24/7 on-site coverage for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing with the state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in senior living or long-term care, preferably with dementia care.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and occasional overnight travel.

• Maintain accurate Electronic Health Records (EHR) and monitor medication administration.
• Notify healthcare providers and families of resident health changes.

• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment and safe handling of hazardous materials.
