Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school education or equivalent.
• Sanitation certificate is required.
• One year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or related medical facility is preferred.
• Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner following dietary restrictions.
• Assist with food preparation for residents in a healthcare facility.
• Maintain sanitation, hygiene, and safe food handling practices.
• Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
