Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Legal Counsel – Health Care Services to provide timely, practical legal advice to internal partners and leadership, drafting commercial PBM contracts for health plans and employer clients, and guiding terms and risk.

You will interpret PBM service agreements, advise on HIPAA and related healthcare laws, and collaborate across a large corporate structure to balance legal risk with business objectives. Travel up to 5% is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of transactional/complex contracting in healthcare.
• 2+ years healthcare law including HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, FCA, and Anti‑Kickback Statute.
• Admitted to practice law in at least one state.
• Ability to travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, practical legal advice to internal partners and leadership.
• Draft PBM contracts for CVS Health’s health plan and employer clients/payors.
• Interpret PBM services agreements and advise on regulatory compliance.
