Job summary

Huron is seeking a Healthcare Consulting Associate in Revenue Cycle to partner with client teams and lead project work streams using proven methodologies. You’ll help healthcare organizations improve clinical and financial outcomes while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years of relevant project implementation or process improvement experience in a team-based environment, preferably within healthcare consulting.
  • Experience leading and supporting hospital or physician revenue cycle initiatives, including department operations and team-based projects focused on process improvement, operational transformation, and change management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project workplans and deliverables for consulting engagements within hospital or physician revenue cycle functions, including denials management, revenue integrity, and patient access services.
  • The ability to travel based on client, enterprise, or project needs is an essential function of this role. While travel requirements may vary based on business need, the current average travel in the Healthcare practice is less than 50%, annually.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • US Work Authorization required.

  • Leverage critical thinking skills in both data collection and complex analysis identifying data gaps and risks to develop sound conclusions and create implementable, sustainable recommendations for improvement.
  • Effectively summarize information and present findings and recommendations to varying levels of Huron and client leadership.
  • Provide direct supervision of junior project team members including coaching mentorship, leading teams, and providing feedback through performance management.
  • Deliver solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs, enhancing both impact and accessibility across healthcare services.

As the Healthcare Consulting Associate in Revenue Cycle, you will:

The estimated base salary range for this job is $100,000 - $145,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $112,000 - $171,100. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
