Job summary

Solid Rock Recruiting, LLC. seeks an experienced Healthcare Construction Superintendent to manage major healthcare projects in the Charleston area.

You will oversee field operations, coordinate trades, and maintain schedule while ensuring safety and quality. Ideal candidates bring healthcare construction experience and a proven ability to manage project documentation and communication with the project team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience with healthcare or hospital construction is required.
• Proven leadership in a superintendent or similar role.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work onsite full-time in the Charleston area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities on major healthcare projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, field personnel, and MEP trades.
• Work closely with the field team to maintain project schedule.
• Review plans and identify issues before they impact the project.
• Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, daily reports, and other docs.
• Coordinate drywall, metal framing, and interior construction.
• Support coordination of MRI room assemblies and related systems.
• Communicate with clients, ownership, subs, and stakeholders.
• Utilize Procore and other software to track progress and docs.
• Assist with project setup and mobilization before construction.
• Maintain focus on safety, quality, schedule, and productivity.
• Bridge communication between field and project management.
