Job summary

LCMC Health in New Orleans is seeking a Lead Compliance Strategy professional to strengthen accountability and drive meaningful change across our health system. You will translate regulatory requirements into practical strategies, lead a team of Compliance Specialists, and partner with leaders to identify risk and implement effective work plans.

You will guide policy development, educate stakeholders, investigate concerns, and oversee auditing and monitoring programs to safeguard patient care

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in compliance or a related field.
• Preferred: Experience in healthcare compliance or health law.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of facility compliance work plans.
• Analyze compliance metrics, identify trends, perform root cause analysis, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Partner with facility and department leaders to identify compliance risks and develop strategies to address them.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop assigned Compliance Specialists while providing oversight of day-to-day work and performance.
• Assess, develop, and update system compliance policies and procedures based on regulatory requirements and organizational needs.
• Help operationalize new policies by developing workflows, addressing implementation barriers, and educating stakeholders.
• Design and deliver compliance education tailored to different audiences across the organization.
• Conduct thorough, objective investigations into reported compliance concerns and develop fact-based findings and recommendations.
• Design and manage compliance auditing and monitoring programs, including tools, protocols, reporting, and corrective action.
• Lead facility-specific risk assessments and provide guidance on complex regulatory compliance matters.
• Chair Compliance Committee meetings and represent Compliance on organizational committees and workgroups.
• Partner with IT and other stakeholders to strengthen technology-enabled compliance monitoring and infrastructure.
