Job summary

ESFM in DeKalb, IL is seeking a dedicated janitorial associate to keep facilities clean and orderly. The role involves heavy cleaning duties, including floor care, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal.

Qualifications

• Janitorial and cleaning experience required.
• Familiar with PPE and safety protocols.
• Experience in warehouse setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following procedures.
• Dusts and damp mops floors.
• Move equipment and place furniture.
• Sanitize surfaces and follow eight-step cleaning.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture and baseboards.
• Follow federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Complete tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors.
