Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System seeks a Cleaning Technician to maintain clean and sanitary patient rooms, operating rooms, and common areas at Methodist Women’s Hospital in Elkhorn, NE. The role supports a patient-centered environment with a 3pm–11:30pm schedule Monday through Friday, plus every other weekend and holiday.

Responsibilities include safe operation of cleaning equipment, proper use of disinfectants, linen supply management, and adherence to safety and infection control guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months cleaning experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned areas in a timely, sanitary manner.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and report repairs.
• Mix and use cleaning products per guidelines.
• Maintain linen supply and stock as needed.
• Follow Infection Control guidelines and safety procedures.
