The Central Supply Clerk will manage the facility’s medical and general supply inventory, ensuring essential items are ordered, stocked, and distributed to support resident care and daily operations.

Originally founded in 2013, PACS operates hundreds of independent operating subsidiaries, as well as ancillary and support services.

Qualifications

• C.N.A. certification preferred.
• Experience in inventory or supply coordination in healthcare a plus.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with ordering systems.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Order, receive, and stock central supply items such as briefs, gloves, gowns, and over-the-counter medications.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure supplies are organized and accessible.
• Monitor usage patterns and communicate concerns about overuse or shortages to nursing leadership.
• Identify and recommend new products or systems that improve efficiency and support staff needs.
• Assist other departments with supply-related tasks as needed.
• Maintain supply budget and track expenditures.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Understand basic contract terms and use ordering software to manage purchases.
