Wyoming Life Resource Center seeks a security professional to provide campus security, assist with resident behavioral support, and respond to medical emergencies. WLRC operates an Intermediate Care Facility and a Skilled Nursing Facility.

You will respond to emergencies (CPR/AED), conduct drills, daily checks, campus patrols, and incident command during disasters. CDL may be required; Associate's in Criminal Justice preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of progressive work experience as a Security Guard with the acquired knowledge at the level of a Security Escort.
• CDL license may be required.

Responsabilités

• Respond to medical emergencies involving residents and staff.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly fire drills.
• Conduct daily security checks of facility buildings and surrounding state property.
• Patrol campus by vehicle and on foot.
• Complete reports and documentation.
• Fingerprint new employees.
• Respond to resident behavior emergencies and assume a lead role for difficult, aggressive, or combative resident behaviors.
• Diffuse and mediate contentious situations between employees and/or visitors who are agitated.
• Act as Incident Commander during disaster situations.
• Respond to and assist with common household utility problems.
• Complete training requirements and maintain certification in all required courses, including BLS, PCM, FEMA 100, 200, 700, and 800.
