Cincinnati Children’s Office of Academic Affairs and Career Development is seeking a full-time Billing Specialist for the College Hill Residential department. The position is a day shift, 40 hours weekly, with a starting pay range of $24.56–$30.75 based on experience and equity, with potential shift differentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3+ years related experience
• Coding certification preferred
• 2+ years related experience in healthcare revenue cycle

Responsibilities

• Financial responsibility in billing, refunds processing, and related coding corrections.
• System support: identify needs, advance technology, ensure regulatory compliance.
• Billing: prepare patient charges, invoices, UB-04 and 1500 forms, verify insurance, obtain authorizations.
• Collaboration: support team operations and communicate with payor representatives.
• Quality: perform audits, participate in performance improvement and LEAN initiatives.

Education
