Responsibilities

  • Actively manage open receivables and pursue reimbursement.
  • Follow up on claims with payers for reimbursement.
  • Ensure charges are correctly credited/debited with departments.
  • Develop and maintain electronic documents for projects.
  • Monitor trend issues and report weekly.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure accuracy of billing data.
  • Communicate with patients and Rush departments to improve outcomes.
  • Stay updated on Illinois HFS requirements to ensure compliance.
