Job summary

Bluebird Staffing in Los Angeles is seeking an Architectural Designer with healthcare project experience to join our team onsite. The candidate will develop construction documents for hospitals and outpatient facilities, using Revit and AutoCAD to produce plans, elevations, and sections.

You will coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers through all design phases, support space planning, and ensure compliance with healthcare codes and client requirements.

Position Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire | Onsite

We are seeking a talented Architectural Designer with healthcare project experience to join our growing team in the Los Angeles area. The ideal candidate will have strong technical design skills and experience producing construction documents for hospitals, medical office buildings, outpatient facilities, and other healthcare environments. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside architects, engineers, and healthcare professionals on projects that improve patient care and shape the future of healthcare facilities.

Essential Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs and construction documents for healthcare projects.
• Produce detailed plans, elevations, sections, and project documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and project managers throughout all phases of design.
• Assist with project planning, programming, and space planning.
• Review drawings for quality, accuracy, and compliance with healthcare codes and standards.
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate revisions as needed.
• Support projects from schematic design through construction administration.
• Ensure projects meet client expectations, schedules, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of architectural design experience.
• Healthcare design experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of healthcare building codes, ADA requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with hospital, medical office, ambulatory care, or outpatient facility design.
• Familiarity with California building codes and healthcare regulations.
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams.
