Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Inc. is seeking a Solution Architect to shape the digital nervous system of healthcare. You'll design enterprise integration solutions and work with various teams to deliver scalable and secure healthcare technology.

This role requires a strong background in software engineering and integration with at least 8 years of experience. You'll also gain exposure to modern API platforms, cloud-native architectures, and emerging AI integration patterns.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, integration, or solution architecture roles.
• 3+ years leading architecture discussions and enterprise technology decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design activities for enterprise integration initiatives.
• Partner with delivery teams to review solution designs and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate strategic objectives.

Skills

Experience designing enterprise-scale integration and API architectures

Strong knowledge of REST APIs

Experience with API security standards

Experience with API management platforms

Experience with cloud-native platforms and container technologies

Knowledge of healthcare domains

AWS, cloud architecture or Agile certifications
