Job summary
Wolters Kluwer is seeking a Lead Technical Product Manager in the United States to lead API, integration, and embedded application initiatives that bring UpToDate intelligence into the healthcare ecosystem. You will own execution for a defined product area, partner with platform/engineering teams, and serve as the go-to product expert for integrations across the portfolio.
You will lead API delivery for third-party integrations and embedded UpToDate Expert AI in clinical tools, including EHR
Qualifications
- 6+ years delivering complex software products from problem definition through launch and iteration.
- Experience owning execution for a platform, API, integration, or other technical product area.
- Strong technical fluency in APIs, distributed systems, authentication/authorization, reliability, SLAs/SLOs, and cloud architecture.
- Experience building developer-facing integration capabilities, including APIs, SDKs, documentation, versioning strategies, or sandbox environments.
Responsibilities
- Own execution for defined API, integration, embedded application, and AI capabilities.
- Lead delivery of APIs enabling third-party product integrations.
- Lead embedding UpToDate Expert AI into clinical tools, including EHR systems.
- Translate partner and clinical workflow needs into product requirements.
- Define roadmap sequencing, dependencies, and tradeoffs for the area.
- Advise other teams on integration approaches and platform capabilities.
- Apply standards for API governance, lifecycle, and developer experience.
- Define requirements for AI quality, safety, evaluation, monitoring, and readiness.
- Partner with Engineering, Architecture, Data, Security, Privacy, Legal, and other stakeholders.
- Communicate priorities and risks clearly to leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Identify recurring needs and turn into reusable capabilities and templates.
- Own discovery, sandbox onboarding, testing, launch, production monitoring, upgrades, and deprecation.
