The Judge Group in Knoxville, TN is seeking an AI Specialist to drive AI initiatives within the Covenant Health system, enhancing clinical workflows and operational outcomes through data analytics and modeling.

The role focuses on identifying AI opportunities, developing proof-of-concept models, and ensuring ethical, secure AI solutions in collaboration with clinicians, IT, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and implement AI models for healthcare applications such as predictive analytics, ambient listening, and clinical decision support and business process optimization.
• Develop and test machine learning models and algorithms tailored to healthcare and business applications such as predictive analytics, natural language processing, and image recognition.
• Collaborates with clinicians, IT, and business stakeholders to identify use-cases and data sources for AI solutions.
• Develop and maintain AI pipelines, including data preprocessing, model training, validation, and deployment.
• Ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, data privacy standards, and ethical guidelines in AI development and deployment activities.
• Evaluate feasibility and impact of proposed AI solutions on clinical workflows, business processes, and patient outcomes.
• Prepare documentation including AI workflows, model specifications, validation reports, and user guides.
• Participates in the design and maintenance of AI-related datasets and infrastructure, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Provides technical guidance and training to staff on AI tools, concepts and best practices.
• Monitor and optimize deployed AI models for performance accuracy and recommends updates or retraining as needed.
• Stays current with advancements in AI, machine learning, business analytics, and healthcare informatics.
• Evaluate vendor proposals for AI tools and services, ensuring alignment with technical, regulatory, and organizational standards.
• Contributes to strategic planning for AI integration across clinical, operational, and administrative domains.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders to facilitate understanding and adoption of AI solutions.
• Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
