Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking an AI Engineer Intern to join our Forward Deployed AI team. You will work with Palantir Foundry, Python, SQL, and TypeScript to build and deploy AI solutions in a healthcare setting.

You will gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and collaboration with clinicians and staff while developing data workflows and analyses that support patient care, operations, and research.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a bachelor’s degree in CS, data science, engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, and TypeScript required or plus.
• Strong interest in data analytics and AI; solid problem-solving and teamwork.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and deploying AI-driven solutions within the organization.
• Build data workflows and conduct analyses to support projects.
• Collaborate with Data, Analytics, and AI teams and stakeholders.
