U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking an Acquisition Utilization Specialist to serve as the medical center liaison and advisor on contract-related services for procurement of a wide variety of items, including specialized services.

The role covers pre- and post-award activities, compliance with FAR/VAAR, and leadership presentations to explain regulations and procedures to management and stakeholders.

Qualificações

• Requires expert contract pre-award and post-award expertise.
• Knowledge of FAR/VAAR and federal procurement laws.
• Ability to train Contracting Officers and stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and implements procurement procedures and artifacts.
• Conducts analyses for complex requirements and budgeting.
• Negotiates with multiple sites to standardize purchases.
• Monitors QA surveillance to ensure contract performance.
• Provides leadership briefings on regulations and processes.
