Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Associate degree or equivalent accounting experience may be considered.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Healthcare accounting or healthcare office experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and organized financial records per accounting principles and policies.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly accounting functions including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities and processing payments.
• Coordinate with billing/revenue-cycle teams to ensure accurate posting and reconciliation of payments.
• Review financial transactions for accuracy and proper coding.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between billing records, payments, and accounting records.
• Monitor outstanding accounts and analyze cash flow trends.
• Maintain vendor account records and payments.
• Collaborate with admin, billing, HR, and leadership to resolve issues.
• Suggest improvements to processes, controls, and reporting.
• Perform other accounting, financial, and administrative duties as assigned.
